CONVERSING WITH GOD
하나님이여 찬송이 시온에서 주를 기다리오며
사람이 서원을 주께 이행하리이다
기도를 들으시는 주여 (시편 65:1)
Silence is praise to you,
Zion-dwelling God, and also obedience.
You hear the prayer in it all. (message)
Nearly everyone believes in God
and throws casual offhand remarks
in his general direction from time to time.
But prayer is something quite different.
거의 누구나 하나님을 믿는다고,
가끔 두루뭉술한 의미로 인간은 누구나
무심코 그런 말을 내뱉기도 한다.
그러나 기도는 그와 사뭇 다르다.
The person with whom we set aside time
for intimacy, for this deepest and
most personal conversation, is God.
At such times the world is not banished,
but it is… on the periphery…
Prayer is the desire to listen to God firsthand,
to speak to God firsthand, and then setting aside
the time and making the arrangements to do it.
It issues from the conviction that
the living God is immensely important to me.
우리가 따로 시간을 떼어 가장 깊고
가장 인격적인 대화를 하나님과 나누는 것이다.
기도를 통해 그분과 더욱 친밀해지는 것이다.
기도하는 시간에, 세상은 사라지지 않고,
다만 주변으로 밀려난다.
기도는 하나님 음성을 직접 듣고
하나님께 직접 말씀드리려는 열망이다.
그리고 시간을 떼고 여건을 마련해 그대로 실행하는 것이다.
기도는 살아계신 하나님이 내게
한없이 소중한 분이라는 확신에서 비롯된다.

요즘은 여경이랑 지내느라고... 정신이 없지만
시시때때로...
하나님과 대화시간을 놓지 않으려고
중얼중얼 하나님께 속삭여 봅니다
2005년 정신없이 한해를 보내며
11월 달력을 찢어버리면서 12월을 맞이 합니다
주님안에서 늘 강건하시길 소망하며~~~
